Funding
Deposits, withdrawals, pUSD, USDC, Polygon, balances, pending transactions, and refresh guidance.
Funding moves assets into the Polymarket trading wallet path used by your account. The app may show this as Cash, Add funds, Deposit, Withdraw, or a portfolio top-up panel.
Deposits
Open Portfolio or the account menu and choose Add funds or Deposit. The deposit modal can show options such as:
- Use Cash.
- Transfer Crypto.
- Enable existing Polygon USDC.e funds when detected.
- Advanced Polygon pUSD for direct pUSD handling.
The app previews available token choices and can request a quote before you confirm. Review the token, network, recipient, estimated output, fees, and estimated checkout time before signing or submitting. If you are not sure a route is supported, stop and use only the route shown by the app.
pUSD, USDC, and USDC.e
Polymarket uses pUSD for the current deposit-wallet trading path. You may also see Polygon USDC or USDC.e during funding, conversion, or withdrawal flows. Follow the app prompt for the specific token and route it offers; do not send unsupported assets to an address just because it looks like a wallet address.
Balances and allowances
The app separates:
- Connected wallet balance.
- Trading wallet or deposit wallet balance.
- CLOB balance used by the order book.
- Token allowance or approval state.
If funds are detected but not ready for trading, the next action may be Add Funds, Approve Tokens, Enable Trading, or Sync Balance.
Withdrawals
Open Portfolio and choose Withdraw when a withdrawable balance is available. The withdrawal form can offer routes such as:
- Withdraw to another coin.
- USDC on Polygon.
- Advanced: send pUSD directly.
The app may show a quote, estimated output, route, network, recipient, and fees before you approve the withdrawal signature. Quotes can move; retry if the quote expires or moves beyond the allowed limit.
Before moving funds
Confirm whether the funds are in your connected wallet, deposit wallet, trading wallet, or CLOB balance. Do not send assets directly to a contract or wallet address unless the current app flow tells you to. Keep the transaction hash, route, amount, and approximate time for support if a transfer gets stuck.
Pending or stale balances
Deposits and withdrawals can take time to settle. Use the refresh action in Portfolio if balance detection is unavailable or stale. If a deposit is pending, avoid sending the same funds again unless you understand the status and route.
