Fees

Official Polymarket fee, rebate, deposit, and withdrawal rules shown from documentation.

This page only displays fee and rebate rules from official Polymarket documentation. Review the live trade ticket, deposit preview, or withdrawal quote before confirming an action.

Trading fees

Polymarket documents that taker fees can apply on certain markets at match time. Makers are not charged those Polymarket taker fees, and some categories can be fee-free. Fees are determined by the market and protocol at execution time, not by a number you type into the order.

Polymarket says fee-enabled markets expose feesEnabled on market objects and per-market fee parameters through getClobMarketInfo(conditionID). Use official market data or the live action preview for the specific market; do not infer a fee from category copy alone.

Builder fees

Polymarket's Builder Fee docs say builder fees are additive to platform fees when a builder code is attached. The documented caps are:

  • Taker builder fee: maximum 100 bps (1%).
  • Maker builder fee: maximum 50 bps (0.5%).
  • Granularity: 1 bp (0.01%).

If a builder code is omitted, Polymarket says no builder fee is charged.

Maker and taker rebates

Polymarket documents maker rebates as daily pUSD rebates for eligible makers in fee-enabled markets. The documented minimum accrued maker rebate payout is $1 pUSD.

Polymarket documents taker rebates as tier-based pUSD rebates paid daily at midnight UTC. Rebate rates, tier thresholds, eligible markets, and bonuses are set by Polymarket and can change.

Deposits and withdrawals

Polymarket docs state there are no Polymarket fees to deposit or withdraw USDC, but intermediaries can charge their own fees. Bridge, provider, quote, spread, or network costs can still appear in a live deposit or withdrawal quote. Read those values before signing because they are action-specific quotes, not static documentation values.

Price impact is not a fee

A worse fill price caused by spread, low liquidity, or price movement is price impact. It can cost more than a visible fee, especially in thin markets. Check the order book and reduce size if needed.

Rewards are separate

Referral rewards, cashback, maker rebates, and builder rewards are separate from trading fees. They are subject to eligibility, review, market configuration, and payout availability. Chicken Dinner cashback and referrals are app ledger programs, not official Polymarket liquidity rewards, maker rebates, taker rebates, or the Polymarket referral program.
